Online Course – Construction Environmental Management Training Day 1 – Tuesday 22nd September 2026
Day 1 of 2-day course, approx. 7 hours.
The SEEC Construction Environmental Management Training Workshops are designed to provide construction personnel with an improved understanding of the typical environmental challenges they will face on a project.
This is a 2-day course. This first day introduces environmental risk management, environmental legal obligations, erosion and sediment control management, works in waterways and how to conduct an environmental site inspection during construction.
The second day builds on these topics and includes information on how to identify and manage contaminated land (including acid sulphate soils), groundwater, flora, fauna and heritage management, waste legal requirements and how to manage them, biosecurity management, noise, odour and vibration management.
Who should attend:
Anyone responsible for planning and maintaining the environmental risk management for a site, HSEQ personnel/engineers, site supervisors or general construction personnel.
Learning Outcomes:
Better understanding of environmental issues on construction sites;
Appreciation of the legal requirements and obligations regarding environmental pollution;
Improved knowledge of typical Construction Environmental Management Plans and how to implement them;
Increased ability to critically analyse the environmental risk on a site and understand suitable controls.

Course registrations will close on Friday 18th September 2026.
To receive a certificate of attendance, it is expected that attendees’ cameras will be switched on during the training and that attendees will participate in discussions throughout the day. Failure to do so will result in no certificate being issued.
The course will run if minimum numbers are met. Please click on ‘register’ to sign up to the course.
You will be prompted to pay by credit card directly at sign up. You will then receive a booking confirmation email.
If after signing up you haven’t received any emails from us, please check your spam email folder as they may have ended up there.
If making a group booking, the invoice for all attendees will be emailed to the first attendee listed at sign up.
During Daylight Saving Time course will begin at 9am NSW time.
If minimum numbers are not met to run the course, we will contact you and offer you a full refund of money paid, or the option to attend the course at one of the other advertised dates.
Cancellation Policy:
If you make a cancellation more than 7 days prior to the event you will receive a full refund.
If you make a cancellation up to 7 days prior, you will receive a credit that can be applied to another online training session listed on our website.
Cancellations made within the last 24 hours will be charged in full. No refund will be available.
